STANDARD CHARTERED JERSEY MARATHON – RUN FROM HOME 

Following our recent announcement that the Jersey Marathon will not go ahead in 2020 due to the ongoing Government restrictions, we are pleased to announce that we will be launching the Standard Chartered Jersey Marathon - Run from Home Challenge! 

The ‘Run from Home’ Challenge will allow our runners to participate in a safe community event and provide our runners and charities with the opportunity to continue their fundraising efforts during this difficult time. We are determined to provide a focal point for running and fundraising within our community, and we also hope to showcase Jersey to our overseas runners.

The Run from Home Challenge will include a range of distances:

Standard Chartered Marathon:

26.2 Miles to be completed on a course of your choice, over one, two or three days. As well as a NEW! Half Marathon option to be completed over one day. 

Ravenscroft Relay Race:

Round up your colleagues, clients, friends, and family for a bit of healthy competition. Assemble your relay team of 5 runners to each complete a section of the full 26.2 miles marathon distance. Team members can select their own course and decide if they run together on the same day, or whether they run separately on different courses, over different days.

Can you take on the fastest mile in its inauguration year? Can you get close to Roger Bannisters’ four minute-mile barrier? Can you run one mile in a fancy-dress costume with your friends? Or can your entire sports club set the best average club time? Whatever your reason to run, we look forward to welcoming all runners aged 6+; short distance athletes, charity runners, school runners, fundraisers, club runners and many more to take on the Marathon Mile Challenge!

The Run from Home Challenge will take place over a two-week period, from 1 - 16 October 2020, and will welcome runners of all abilities from anywhere in the world.

 All entry fees will include a finisher medal, a technical t-shirt, finisher goodies, all booking fees, a digital challenge pack, ongoing support throughout the challenge and much more!
