Get ready to plunge into the chilly waters of Cleveland Lakes Nature Reserve at our ICY DIP Swim. Join us for a morning of short races filled with fun.
If you're a seasoned cold water swimmer looking for a new challenge, this event is for you. Don't miss out on this opportunity to swim in our lake, which is not normally open to the public.
This is a back to basics 'no frills' event, so please don't expect to be spoilt, as there won't be any warm rooms, hot tubs or jacuzzis. What we will offer is our magical lake and a warm welcome.
Races will be in an open water course marked by swim buoys. There will be a mix of events for solo swimmers and team relays, plus a non-competitive 'best hat' swim where you are encouraged to design and wear a fancy hat while swimming. The hat could be themed, colourful, or whimsical, basically anything that stands out and brings personality to your swim!
Following the competitive events the lake will remain open for 30 minutes, tickets are available for a general swim, this is aimed at anyone who doesn't want to compete, but would like the opportunity to have a dip in the lake.
