For those interested in participating, entering online via RaceNation is essential. Registration will then be held at the Whitehead Centre Main Hall from 10am until 11.30am on race day. Participants will collect their bib at their registration table corresponding with their surname.
The Whitehead Easter Road Race 2026 is set to take place on Easter Monday, 6th April 2026. This historic event, which has been running for over a century, is Northern Ireland's longest standing Road Race. It has been a cherished tradition, overcoming various challenges to remain a beloved part of the community calendar. The race is a competitive day filled with community spirit, where runners can lace up and run, spectators can cheer, and the community can come together to celebrate. Runners are welcome to stay after and enjoy refreshments put on by the community and Whitehead Running Club.
The fun run is approximately 1.6 miles long (about 2.6 km), starts at 12:00 pm and starts and finishes on Kings Road. Main race is 5-mile (≈ 8 km) road race.
