Before you enter Whitehead Easter Monday Road Race 2025
- Entry is open to everyone, affiliated athletes and non-club members alike.
- If you are a member of an athletic club, please enter club name on registration. If you are not a member of any club, please type "N/A" or "None".
- Numbers capped at 250 (5-mile race) and 50 (1.6 mile fun run).
- Online registration closes once the capped entry has been reached or at 11:55pm on 24th March 2024, whichever comes first
- Race numbers can be collected from Whitehead Community Centre, Balmoral Avenue between 10.30am and 11.45am on race day
- If race sells out, there will be no on the day entry
- Entries must be 15 years of age or over on event day
- Entries are NON-REFUNDABLE

About Whitehead Easter Monday Road Race 2025
The very first "Great Harrier Race" and the oldest road race in Northern Ireland returns for 2025! Last year we celebrated our 100th Year of the Whitehead Road Race.
Whitehead Road Race will begin with the family friendly 1.6-mile fun run at 12.00pm with the main 5-mile race at 12.30pm.
Family fun run (1.6 miles):
- Starts at 12pm sharp
- Starts and finishes on Kings Road outside Whitehead Centre.
- 1 lap of Whitehead
- Minimum age 9 years old on race day.
- Medal for all finishers.
Whitehead Road Race (5 miles):
- Starts at 12.30pm on Cable Road at the junction with Victoria Avenue.
- Finishes on Kings Road outside Whitehead Centre.
- 3 laps of Whitehead.
- Entries limited to 250
- Minimum age 15 years old on race day.
- Medal for all finishers.
