Before you enter Chase Your Pace 5km Series 2020-21

This is an event by Try A Tri Guernsey LBG - we welcome and encourage runners of all abilities and experience to take part in our events and value inclusiveness and fun over competition. However we love personal challenges and some friendly rivalry to keep you motivated! 

Entry profits go towards the work of Try A Tri Community LBG to deliver more free and low cost training and events to key groups: children, teenagers, and in 2021, disability groups.

Registration to this event buys you entry to all 6 runs, an exclusive piece of CCS run kit (optional) and the chance to win series prizes!

About Chase Your Pace 5km Series 2020-21

A new running series to keep you lacing up your trainers through the Autumn & Winter 2020-21!

Six 5km running events, taking place on three very different routes.

Route 1: Flat
Route 2: Hills
Route 3: Mixed Terrain

Run the first three events and then REPEAT! You will have a second chance to CHASE YOUR PACE from your first attempt on each route! Your run, your target to beat!

We have also created a start format that provides equal opportunity for any runner to cross the finish line first!

If you're not a fan of times and paces you can opt to run as a non-timed runner. You can still join in and be part of a lovely event with lovely people, and just run for the LOVE OF RUNNING!

The running series takes place on Sunday mornings at approx 8.15am between November 2020 and March 2021

Run 1: 22 November 2020
Run 2: 6 December 2020
Run 3: 10 January 2021
Run 4: 31 January 2021 (repeat run, staggered start)
Run 5: 28 February 2021 (repeat run, staggered start)
Run 6: 14 March 2021 (repeat run, staggered start)

The run routes will take place on road and mixed terrain (grass, sand, mud, cliffs!) and throughout the winter months. We highly recommend a good pair of grippy trainers or trail shoes on some of the routes.
