THERE IS NO FINISH.  THERE IS ONLY ONE FINISHER.  THE LAST ONE STANDING.

Solo Event

It's simple, competitors must complete the 4.167 mile route on the hour, every hour until only one runner remains. Starting the race exclusively in 2022 will be the legend Lazarus Lake himself. There will only be one athlete who does not receive a DNF and they will be crowned the Backyard Ultra Cymru/ Wales winner 2022. 

Team Event

The Team event rules remain the same except you compete as a team of 4 but not necessarily running together. The last runner to complete a lap by himself against other team members wins the event for their Team. The last remaining runner from each Team then continues as a solo competitor. Of course, there will be a prize for the best team.
