Wye Valley Trail Running Challenge 2023

Before you enter Wye Valley Trail Running Challenge 2023

We are very excited to be heading back to the Wye Valley for what is surely one of our most stunning trail runs to date.

Set just along the banks of the river from Symonds Yat, which is one of the most iconic spots of the Wye Valley. It is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty offering stunning riverside walks, lush forests and so much more. We will be taking you on a stunning, yet challenging, run along the river banks and surrounding woodland.

This year we are adding more elevation and taking you off the river path and into the bluebell covered trails of the woodlands, that line the banks of the river.

For the marathon and ultra runners you will be following the River Wye Walk on the River Wye Path which leads you down river for a number of miles, you will then cross the river before picking up the Offa's Dyke Path for a breath taking stretch of the run.  Heading back up the Offa's Dyke Path you will then be led back to the river the the woodlands.

The half marathon and 12K runners take the same route but cross the river at an earlier spot, taking in some gorgeous bluebell covered woodlands.

Canicross friendly: half marathon and 12k only (please ensure your dog has trained for the event).
