Celebrated annually on the first Wednesday of June, Global Running Day is a global celebration dedicated to the joy of running and its positive impact on physical and mental well-being. Observed annually on the first Wednesday of June, this event unites runners of all skill levels—whether beginners or experienced athletes—to embrace the sport and inspire an active lifestyle. Participants from around the world join organised races, group runs, or solo jogs to commemorate the day. Globe Running Day also promotes inclusivity, encouraging people of all ages and abilities to move at their own pace. Many organisations and communities host special events, challenges, and virtual runs, making it a worldwide movement that fosters fitness, camaraderie, and personal achievement.

WHAT’S INVOLVED?

Run, walk or jog any distance on Global Running Day (4th June 2025).  We also accept treadmill activities.

WHAT’S INCLUDED?

All participants will receive a beautiful black finishers medal for their achievement. This medal comes with a plain colour ribbon.
