The Bolt at the Badminton Estate returns for its 4th year and we invite everyone to join us! This year we have the same 5K and 10K runs as previous years, but we are also offering a 1.5K run for anyone not quite ready for a 5K!
This event is organised by the Friends of Trinity C of E Primary School, which is a parent ran charity (charity number 1117484) for Trinity C of E Primary School in Acton Turville, South Gloucestershire. All profits from this event go to the Primary School and is used to fund new equipment that the school needs.
We can't think of a better way to raise money for the school, than getting everyone outside and running or walking around the picturesque Badminton Estate! Everyone is welcome, regardless of whether you are trying to set your best time or simply complete the course. Entrants will receive a race bib with their race number and chip for timing.
Finally, to make it even more fun for the children, a parent dressed as the 'bolt', will be running to cheer you on! Children under 12 must be accompanied by a paying adult. Young children accompanying adults in pushchairs or buggies are free and no entry is required for them.
Refreshments will be available and there will be a BBQ selling hot food to replenish all those calories burned!

The 1.5K, 5K and 10K Bolt at Badminton Estate are ran on a course around the picturesque Badminton Estate with the 10K run being two loops of the 5K course. The course is a mixture of trails and bridle tracks around the Estate that suits runners of all abilities. The course is marshalled and easy to navigate without having to worry about getting lost. Whether you run, jog or walk this event offers a great way to explore the grounds of the Badminton Estate.
This year the event is held on the Saturday 16th May 2026. Timings for the event are as follows:
Big thanks to Pure Gym for joining us again this year to get everyone warmed up and ready for the races.
