As this is a Winter event, please note that we have a generous cut-off time for the Half Marathon of 3 hours and 30 minutes as we are mindful that our volunteer race makers are stood in the cold for the duration of the event.
The AVR Wiltshire Half Marathon is now in its 12th year and is organised by Avon Valley Runners. This is a chip timed road race over a certified course starting in Edington and taking in the beautiful villages of Steeple Ashton and Great Hinton. This event is run in support of the Wiltshire Air Ambulance.
This year's event will take place on Sunday 24th November at 11am, and the race HQ is Station Yard, Edington, Wiltshire, BA13 4NT.
Please note that parking is quite limited so we ask entrants to car-share where possible.
A map of the route can be found here, and there are four water stations located throughout the course. The cut-off time for completion of this event is 3 hours 30 minutes (with a 10km cut-off time of 90 minutes).
