The Festival of the Mile, sponsored by Rathbones is taking place on Sunday 20 July on the track at FB Fields. The event is open to runners of all ages and abilities. Whether you're racing or participating, come along and enjoy yourself. Solo and Team events are available:

The Mile Challenges – Solo (16+/18+)

• The Mile (16+): 1 Mile all out 
• The Handicap Mile (16+): 1 Mile levelled out based on your time on ‘The Mile’  (NB. you must do ‘The Mile’ first)
• The Randalls Beer Mile (18+ only): 4 x 400m with a beer needing to be chugged before every lap. A true test of endurance! Alcohol-free beer available
• The Triple Ticket (18+ only): All the above 

The Junior Mile – Solo (6-15 yrs)

• The Junior Mile: 1 Mile all out 

The Family Mile Relay – Teams of four runners (2x children 6-15 yrs and 2x adults aged 16+)

• The Family Mile – Team Relay : x4 runners doing 400m each

The Mascot 400 – Solo (18+)

• The Mascot 400: 400m all out, wearing mascot costume

The Mile Challenges – Teams of two runners (16+/18+)

• The Mile – Team relay (16+) : x2 runners doing 800m each
• The Randalls Beer Mile (18+ only): x2 runners doing 800m each, with a beer needing to be chugged before every lap
• The Team Double Ticket (18+ only): All of the above.
