The Festival of the Mile is taking place on Sunday 16 July on the track at FB Fields. The event is open to everyone over the age of 18 and there are no pre-requisites for entry. Whether you're racing or participating, come along and enjoy yourself. Solo and Team events are available:

The Mile Challenges – Solo

• The Mile: 1 Mile all out
• The Handicap Mile: 1 Mile levelled out based on your time on ‘The Mile’
• The Beer Mile, sponsored by Randalls: 4 x 400m with a beer needing to be chugged before every lap. A true test of endurance! Alcohol-free beer available
• The Triple Ticket: All of the above

The Mascot Mile – Solo

• The Mascot Mile: 1 Mile all out wearing a mascot costume

The Mile Challenges – Teams of two runners

• The Mile – Team relay: x2 runners doing 800m each 
• The Beer Mile, sponsored by Randalls Relay: x2 runners doing 800m each, with a beer needing to be chugged before every lap 
• The Team x2 Double Ticket: All of the above 

The Mile Challenges – Teams of four runners

• The Mile – Team relay: x4 runners doing 400m each 
• The Beer Mile, sponsored by Randalls Relay: x4 runners doing 400m each, with a beer needing to be chugged before every lap
