Paul Popham Running Club Invites you to take part in their annual Wear Wally Run. In aid of Popham Kidney Support

Information

There is a 5k and 10k race. They both take in the scenery along The River Tawe footpath. It has been held annually since 2013. It is organised by the Paul Popham Running Club and all proceeds go to Popham Kidney Support to support children, youths and adults with kidney disease in Wales and their families.

The name ' Wear Wally' is a play on words, Paul Popham, the patron of Popham Kidney Support nickname was Wally. He played football for a local Swansea team called St Joseph's whose colours are green and white, which came from a kit they were given from Celtic at the start of their journey. As 'Where's Wally' is red and white striped we ask people who enter to WEAR green and white stripes!

All entrants receive a green and white hat as part of their entry fee, and a badge when they complete the run with the date on. If they have already run Wear Wally, they pay a reduced fee and just bring their hat on the day.

There are two toilets at the venue and a place to leave bags in a locked office.

There is ample free parking as the start is on an enterprise park.

Coffee, tea and cake are on sale after the race for a small donation that goes to the charity.

Age limits:

• 5k 11 years of age and upwards


• 10k race 16 years of age and over

Entry Fees

£15 with a hat

£10 without a hat (if already have one)

£10 for PPRC members with a hat

£7 for PPRC members without a hat (if already have one)

Entry fee includes

Hat and glasses for those who do not have them, a wally badge & date to place on the hat once completed the race.
