ENTRY FEE & INFORMATION

5k SERIES

The entry age for the 5k series is 11 years plus

FEES FOR all runners 11 years of age and upwards

The entry fee per race for an affiliated runner: £10

The entry fee for all 3 races for an affiliated runner: £25

***Early Bird £20.00 ends 3rd Feb****

The entry fee per race for an unaffiliated runner: £12

The entry fee per race for an unaffiliated runner: £30

***Early Bird £25.00 ends 3rd Feb****

Fun Run

Age Limit for the 1k Fun Run is 10 years of age

Age Limit for the 2.5k Fun Run is 14 years of age

Entry fee for the fun run is:

1k: £5.00 per race or £12.50 all 3

2.5k: £7.50 per race or £17.50 all 3

***Early Bird 1k £10 all 3****

*****Early Bird 2.5k £12.50 ends 3rd Feb****

ENTRY FEE INCLUDES

  • Burger and a Beer for adults post race and a soft drink for minors
  • Goodie Bags for all entrants of the 5k
  • Certficiates and sweets for Fun Run
  • Prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place Female/Male/Junior
  • Overall Series Winner for Female/Male/Junior

EVENT TIMES

Kids Fun Run: starts at 6pm - need to register between 5pm and 5.30pm

5k Series race: starts at 7pm - need to register between 6pm and 6.30pm

About Swansea Bay Summer 5k Series 2020 - Race 3

We are pleased to be organising the Swansea Bay Summer 5k Series and Fun Run for a 4th year and very excited to be back at the new Secret Beach Bar & Restaurant. The aim of the series is for the running community in Swansea to take part in three 5k races in May, June and July to improve on their performance at each event in a fun and competitive environment. There is also a fun run for children of all ages, inviting children from schools in Swansea to enjoy a fun and friendly atmosphere while taking part in either a 1k or 2.5k run. There is also a charitable aim - all proceeds will be donated to the Paul Popham Fund, Renal Support Wales to help support more kidney patients to lead a better quality of life and believe in themselves.



The series will again take place on the second Thursday of May, June and July, with the main race starting at 7pm and the children’s fun run starting at 6pm. And in addition there will be entertainment for the runners and supporters to enjoy.
