The Otmoor Challenge 2023

We are delighted  to announce that the Otmoor Challenge will be back in 2023 after a 3 year gap due to Covid-19 and logistical challenges. We are now running the event under UKA rules and have a full UKA license.

Unfortunately due to rising costs we have had to increase the entry fee this year though we are committed to keeping this price down whilst making the run worthwhile to contribute to local causes. All runners who entered the 2022 event and did not ask for a refund will be carried over to the new date - we are unable to offer refunds.

Runners with entries that were not refunded from 2022 will have their entry carried over and should receive an email. Plesae contact runners@otmoorchallenge.co.uk if there are any queries. We are now no longer able to offer refunds for these entries.

Run Start 10am Saturday 1st July. Registration will close at 9.30am.  Please allow plenty of time to collect bib on the day.

The Otmoor Challenge has been running for over 40 years and raises funds for local charities, organisations and causes such as the village church, Beckley C of E School, local interest groups, youth groups and village hall.

The half-marathon route consists of 6 miles of quiet country roads and just over 7 miles of off-road sections including stiles, fields, footpaths and bridleways, and one demanding hill at the 10 mile point at Beckley. The route circumnavigates Otmoor, a large RSPB conservation area, via 7 villages - historically described as "The Seven Towns of Otmoor".
