Welcome to the sign up page for the Lionesses Skills Showcase 2025!

The showcase is aimed at providing an opportunity for girls to show off their cricket skills in order to be considered for selection for our Lionesses performance programme.

Jersey Cricket run squads at U11, U13 and U16 age groups for girls. Those selected are then invited to attend high performance training sessions at Grainville throughout the summer whilst also taking part in fixtures against various opposition.

The Lionesses squad selection process is a multi-level talent identification programme that includes:

- performances during winter cricket programmes (HERA Legacy, Future Reds etc)

- previous performances for Jersey Lionesses performance squads (where applicable)

- performances in the Lionesses Skills Showcase sessions

The skills showcase will involve all aspects of cricket to ensure the girls are all provided the opportunity to show off their strengths. Players at U11 age group do NOT need prior hard ball experience but those in U13 and U16 age groups do need to have experience of hard ball cricket.

Lionesses Skills Showcase

Date: Saturday 19th April

Location: FB Fields (Net Area)

Time: Age Specific as per below

U11s = 9am -10.15am

U13s = 10.30am - 11.45am

U16s = 12pm - 1.15pm

The sessions will be led by our Pathways & Development Manager alongside the Pathways & Development Officer who will both oversee the Lionesses squads and programme for this season.

***If you are unable to attend the showcase we will be able to use other factors in selection and we will run other sessions of this nature throughout the summer to ensure no players are missed for consideration***
