Jersey Cricket is thrilled to announce the launch of our brand-new girls' cricket league: HERA Cricket Legacy!

HERA Cricket Legacy is designed to give girls the opportunity to play more cricket, in an environment where teamwork, sportsmanship, and fun take centre stage! 

Who Can Join:

Girls aged 8-15 who are already registered in our program or have participated in one of our open days are welcome!

What is HERA Cricket Legacy?

HERA provides a vibrant space for girls who want to enjoy social and competitive cricket in Jersey. The league features four clubs connected to established clubs on the Island, creating a strong community for young players. Each team will benefit from mentorship by two members of the Women’s Squad, along with a dedicated manager and coach from the club.

Our Clubs:

Please select from one of the four clubs below to join for the season:

• Farmers Fire (East) - Sundays 2-3pm @ St Michaels
• Walkovers Invincibles (East) - Sundays 3-4pm @ St Michaels
• SOS Originals (West) - Sundays 2-3pm @ St Georges
• Chirpy's Rockets (West) - Sundays 3-4pm @ St Georges

All sessions will take place on Sunday afternoons from 12th January until 23rd March. Not including the half term date of Sunday 16th February.

Cost: 

The cost for the 10 weeks of coaching and a club training t-shirt is £50.

What to Expect:

• Skill Development: Enjoy dynamic coaching sessions tailored for fun, with options for hardball or hybrid cricket. Each club will be provided with qualified coaches who will bring their passion and expertise to help each girl enhance her skills.

• Winter Program: Kicking off in January, our weekly training sessions will focus on building essential skills in bowling, batting, and fielding.
• Summer Program: In the summer season, girls will train bi-weekly and compete against other clubs on alternate weeks.
• Team Spirit: Join a community where girls can grow as individuals and develop friendships, all while enjoying the game of cricket. A chance for the girls to be part of a brand-new legacy!

• Competitive Matches: Participate in thrilling league matches throughout the season to gain valuable match experience and showcase their skills, while having fun with friends.
