This is a special year to be involved - 30 bays in 30 days is celebrating its 10th birthday in 2023!

Memorable swims. Memorable Summer. Rediscover or start a love of swimming in the sea and use the challenge as a way to explore our island or spend time with family and friends.

Since the event was established it has raised over £230k for Les Bourgs Hospice and the concept has been shared with the Jersey Hospice & National Trust Jersey, it has evolved in Guernsey to include a smaller family friendly 9baysin30days version and also a Winter 12 Bays of Christmas challenge. Last year we helped to set up a 5 bays in 5 days event in the Bailiwick's Northern Isle to raise money for Alderney Cancer Relief and the Alderney Wildlife Trust.

We are hoping that this will be a record in the number of people getting involved but also the amount raised for Les Bourgs Hospice. We would really appreciate your help in breaking that record to reach 1500 who signed up in 2020. Please encourage friends, family and work colleagues to get signed up and if the prospect of doing it as an individual is too much why not enter as a team and share the list of bays between you? It's easier than you think so get signed up and make the most of your Summer!

About 30 Bays in 30 Days 2023 - Guernsey

Help us to celebrate 10 years of the 30 bays in 30 days fundraiser for Les Bourgs Hospice and make the most of your Summer.

The challenge is to swim at least 30 strokes in 30 different bays around the island during the month of July but it can be flexible to suit your needs so you can repeat swims at your favourite bays from the list if they are easier for you to access or extend the challenge into August. We also appreciate that although the event encourages you to swim every day busy lives, tide or weather can make this a challenge so you can bank swims if you need to. We want you to enjoy it!

Whether you want to explore parts of the island you've never been to, rediscover a love of sea swimming or make new memories with friends and family we like to think that this event provides something for everyone. If you are limited on time please consider signing up as part of a team to share the list between you or take part in our smaller 9baysin30days event.
