About Jersken
Jersken – a combination of Jersey and Kenya - is a Jersey-based charity founded in 2013 with the aim of providing orphaned children in Machakos County in Kenya with shelter, food and education. The Jersken Little Angels Home was opened by Lucy Falle on 5 July 2013. Today, 17 orphaned and underprivileged children - eight boys and nine girls - all under 16 years old live at the Little Angels Home.
For five years, Jersken raised funds for the children’s home by running a charity shop warehouse on St Clements’ Road in Jersey. Sadly, the charity shop had to close during the pandemic.
The Jersken Charity Cycle Challenge will seek to raise £26,000, which will help keep the home running for a whole year!
