The Ana Leaf Multi Duathlon Les Quennevais is an event where you Run, Bike, Run, Bike,...,Run as many times as you can (or want to) in 1 hour (after 1 hour you cannot start another leg). (Run: 1km on the grass, Bike (draft legal): c4.5km, 3 laps of the track anticlockwise.) Full instructions will be sent to you a few days before the event. You need a road worthy bike, a helmet and clothes/shoes suitable for running and cycling. NB tri bars and rear disk wheels are NOT allowed.
Please note for those athletes born in 2007 or 2008 the BTF recommends athletes do not exceed a Sprint Distance Duathlon (5km Run, 20km Bike, 2.5km Run). The format of this event cannot guarantee these distances won't be exceeded in aggregate, please consider this when entering. Junior athletes can also compete as follows: TS2 (those born 2012/2011) can do Run, Bike, Run and TS3 (those born 2010/2009) can do Run, Bike, Run, Bike, Run (NB the aggregate distances for TS3 athletes is slightly over the recommended maximum for this age group, 3km of running vs 2.8km and 9km of cycling vs 8km, please consider this before entering your child).
