Further to the launch of the new Designated Safeguarding Lead Network for Sport in November, Jersey Sport are delighted to be partnering with the Government of Jersey to deliver the first forum event to support safeguarding improvements in local sport, with a focus on off-island travel.

The event will provide opportunity for Welfare Officers / Safeguarding Leads of local sport organisations to support their roles and work within community sport by discussing and sharing challenges and good practice when taking athletes and representatives off-island for training and competition. As well as small and group discussions, the event will review scenarios and aid learning.
