Short Track Racing  

The first round of XCC MTB Series is to be held on Thursday 7th August at the Greve De Lecq Mountain Bike Course and will be the first of our evening short track XCC events, racing is for 20 Minutes. 

 

Racing will be flat out, on a fast-flowing course with short to flat climbs with an expected race duration will be around 20 minutes. 

 

Timings: 

17:00 –18:15 Course Setup 

18:15 - 18:40 Sign on & Practice 

18:45 - Race Start 

19:05 – Race Finish  

19:06 – Course pack up 

JYC Categories: 

Junior Open & Female (16–18) 

Youth Open & Female (14–15)  

U14 Open & Female (13-14) 

U12 Open & Female (11-12) 

 

Senior Categories: 

Elite Open & Female (19+)  

Sport Open & Female (19+) 

Veteran Open & Female (40-49) 

Grand Veteran Open & Female (50-59) 

Super Veteran Open & Female (60-69) 

 

Helmets are compulsory for the event; gloves & eye wear are recommended. 

Online entry is open until 8pm on Wednesday. Late entries will be accepted on the day at a cost of £15 or £17 if you also require a timing chip so get those entries in early. 

Riders will usually head to the nearest pub for a cold beverage & some food post race - Ie The Farmers / The Tipsy / The Horse & Hound, feel free to join!
