About The Brecon Bach 2020

New to DB Max in 2020, the Brecon Bach Standard Distance Triathlon, the baby brother to the iconic Titan Brecon Middle Distance.!

The event starts as always with a 1500mtr swim in the clear waters of Parc Bryn Bach and consists of a 2 lap swim. It is then out of the swim ramp and in to the nearby transition.

It is then out on to the incredible bike course taking in the Brecon Moors and heading down to Llangynidr! A quick turn round see’s competitors head back up the infamous Iron Mountain, a 3.7 mile climb with some of the most stunning views in the Brecon Beacons!

After a quick run in to transition it is out on to the 2 lap run course which starts with a 2k lap of the lake before heading in to the hills!

Put these all together and it makes for one of the most exciting standard distance triathlons on the UK events calendar!
