This is is the eleventh running of the Flying Monk Malmesbury 10k. 

Held in association with PD Fitness and Malmesbury Victoria Football Club, the Flying Monk Malmesbury 10k is very much part of the Carnival celebrations. An undulating route with approx 1.5k of the route off road down the “Old Fosse Way”, the oldest Roman Road in the country, the rest being run on the quiet country roads surrounding Malmesbury.

Here at DB Max we are trying to reduce the amount of waste we create, reduce our carbon footprint and to make our events affordable for all. For the Flying Monk Malmesbury 10k, we have taken the decision to make the medals optional.

So we are offering runners the option to purchase a medal when registering, but alternatively to enter at a lower price, without a medal. This ensures we can give the cheapest entry price possible, but also covers all options and keep those runners who love a medal happy too.

To facilitate this, runners wishing to receive a medal will need to enter at least 6 weeks before the event date and choose the medal option when entering. Runners entering after the 6-week deadline will not be able to purchase a medal.
