The Humdinger and Hurtle Races - 16th March 2025 - Fyne Court, Bridgwater
Humdinger runners must be over 18 years of age. This course is not suitable for wheelchair athletes.
Hurtle runners must be over 16 years of age. This course is not suitable for wheelchair athletes.
Please note that the ARC requires its permitted races to charge a £2 unattached levy on all race entrants who are not members of either ARC or UK Athletics affiliated clubs.
Headphones are not to be worn for safety reasons including bone conduction devices.
Unfortunately, we do not offer refunds but you can transfer your place to another person right up until the day. Any entry fees will need to be arranged privately between you and the other person. You could also drop down from the Humdinger to the Hurtle but may not receive a 'Hurtle' medal if the races are full.
In the event of cancellation, we will endeavour to re-schedule the race or offer a virtual option.

An entrant shall be deemed to have made him/herself/their self, familiar with, and agreed to be bound by the UKA Anti-Doping Rules and to submit to the authority of UK Anti-Doping in the application and enforcement of the Anti-Doping Rules.
'The UKA Anti-Doping Rules apply to entrants participating in the sport of Athletics, for 12 months from the [date of entry], whether or not the licence holder is a citizen of, or resident in, the UK.’

Humdinger and Hurtle Races - 16 March 2025 at 0930
Race HQ - Fyne Court, Bridgwater, Somerset.
The Humdinger is one of the toughest road races in the area!! At just over 13.5 miles, this undulating course begins at the beautiful Fyne Court in the Quantock Hills and totals more than 1500ft of ascent! Runners will be rewarded with stunning views, quaint villages and peaceful woodland country roads.
The Hurtle is the little sister to The Humdinger and no fun run! Although shorter, at 6.3 miles, you will certainly have earned that medal at the finish line!
Fyne Court is owned and operated by the National Trust. Your family and friends will be able to take a relaxing walk through the woods, explore the streams or sit with a coffee in the beautiful garden while you do all the hard work!!!
