About Horton Bull Run

It is a 4.26 mile (6.85 km) road run for those of all abilities and children from 9 years.

It is held on a pleasant, undulating course around the village of Horton and surrounding area using country lanes with excellent views of the Cotswold countryside. Amongst the participants are those from local running clubs, primarily the Hogweed Trotters who are very familiar with this route. The course record currently stands at 21 minutes 33 seconds held by J. Thie in 2002 but it is just waiting to be beaten......

The run also attracts walkers and the occasional pram-pusher and is a popular day out. Runners, when finished, can relax with a refreshment in the friendly atmosphere of the Village Hall.

  • 10 classes: Boys/Girls 9 – 11 years, Boys/Girls 12 – 16, Men/Ladies 17 – 40, Men/Ladies 41 – 54, Veteran Men/Ladies 55 +.
