Before you enter Headway Jacksons 10k Race 2021

The Headway Jacksons 10k race is back for 2021 offering a potential pb on an officially measured course with chip timing. Please note entries are limited to 300 runners.
Beginning and finishing on the Les Quennevais Cycle Track there are cash prizes to the first 3 male and female runners, £100 1st place, £50 2nd place and £25 3rd place.
Trophies will also be awarded to first male/female over 40, first male/female over 50, first male/ female over 60. Trophies will also be awarded to first male team, first female team and first mixed team.
A performance running t-shirt will be provided to all 10k runners ( registered by Sunday 13th June) along with a bespoke medal to all finishers.
A 3k kids fun run(ages 7 -15) will take in 2 laps of the cycle track with a medal to all finishers.
Please note the 3k fun run is limited to 30 children and will not be an officially measured and timed course.
A time limit of 90 minutes is applicable for the 10k race.
Race packs will be distributed from the Hapi Lifestyle store in Liberty Wharf on Thursday 24th/ Friday 25th June, 12 - 2p.m. and Saturday 26th June 10a.m.-12p.m. at the Jacksons Showroom, St. Peter.

No race packs will be issued on the day.

about Headway Jacksons 10k Race 2021

Due to the additional time taken to order and print the customised t-shirts you MUST enter by Sunday 13th June. Entries after the date of Friday 11th June CANNOT be guaranteed a t-shirt.

Race Start

The race begins from the far side of Les Quennevais Track at the 2nd floodlight, adjacent to the golf course heading clockwise and leaving the track onto Don Farm Estate.

Proceeding to junction of Route Des Quennevais, turning left.

At junction with Rue Du Cimetiere join wide red cycle path.

Continue along to Rue Des Vignes crossing La Rue Carree, the approach road to the airport and joining L'Avenue de la Reine Elizabeth 2nd at La Rue Des Landes.

Proceeding along La Rue Des Vignes until junction and crossing La Route de Beaumont into Rue Maret.

Turn left into Rue de la Hague and continue until turning left into La Verte Rue just past St. George's Prep.

On reaching La Grande Route De St. Pierre turn left and cross road into La Petite Rue D'Eglise.

Crossing La Rue De L'Eglise into La rue Des Fosses and on into La Rue De St. Clement.

A sharp right onto the airport track and returning back to La Rue Des Landes and right again along red path until reaching Rue Du Cimetiere.

Turning right and following Cemetery road and joining track behind Belle View and back onto Les Quennevais track, turning left and finishing at the same point as the start.
