The Headway Jacksons 10k race is new to the Jersey race calendar offering a potential pb on an officially measured course with chip timing.
It's sure to become a not to be missed annual event with its innovative on-course features!
Beginning and finishing on the Les Quennevais Cycle Track there are cash prizes to the first 3 male and female runners, £100 1st place, £50 2nd place and £25 3rd place.
Trophies will also be awarded to first male/female over 40, first male/female over 50, first male/ female over 60.
A quality running t-shirt will be provided to all 10k runners along with a medal to all finishers.
A 3k kids fun run(ages 9 -15) will take in 2 laps of the cycle track with a medal to all finishers.
School group entries encouraged with an iPad 128gb worth £359 presented to the school with the greatest fundraising to Headway Jersey(per capita).
Please note the 3k fun run will not be an officially measured and timed course.
Every adult online donation at registration will be entered into the star prize draw of 6 months membership to Active Leisure Centres worth £265.20( prize is transferable, t's and c's apply).
The winners will be announced at the awards presentations after the race at 10.30a.m. at the Jersey Petanque Clubhouse where light refreshments will be provided.
A time limit of 90 minutes is applicable for the 10k race.
Race packs will be distributed from the Hapi Lifestyle store in Liberty Wharf on Thursday 20th/ Friday 21st June, 12 - 2p.m. and Saturday 22nd June at the Jacksons Showroom, St. Peter.
