Event Stakeholders
Hapi on the Hill is the idea of Matt Harris and Mark Grenyer. Matt is the owner of Hapi, a successful Jersey Sport Shop and Lifestyle brand, with an obsession for being active and Mark is a vastly experienced endurance runner, who has participated in and supported running events all over the world.
3D Events, a Jersey event management company, have been engaged by the Hapi on the Hill team to support in the development, operational planning and live event management of the event. They have proven experience in organising mass participation sporting events in Jersey, including the Jersey Marathon, Jersey Triathlon, The Durrell Challenge, HSBC Let’s Ride and Super League Triathlon to name a few.
Faulkner Fisheries are kindly supporting the event and operating their business as usual with unrestricted access to their premises.
Course Map
It couldn’t be simpler, there one course approximately 500 metres in length. Depending on the race category, runners will run a set number of accents (up and down) on the same course. Runners will stay on the right hand side of the course, to ensure no crossing.
Parking
There will be two primary parking areas for participants - Battery Moltke at the top of L’Etacq Hill cliff path and the Old Milano Bars site car park at La Saline slip on Vert Rue.
Transport
Return coach transportation from St Helier to L’Etacq for both the morning and afternoon sessions will be organised if there is sufficient demand. Runners will need to pre-register for a coach transfer so exact numbers are known in advance.
Start / Finish Line
This will be located at the entrance of the Faulkner Fisheries car park, and accessed from the Event Village.
Turning Point
Event Marshall will be located at the top of the Hill before the junction of Route du Ouest and Route des Landes.
Event Village
There will be an atmospheric Event village with food, beverages (non-alcoholic), entertainment, massage, sauna facilities, toilets, merchandise, and medics.
