Overseas entrants COVID 19 information:
If you are thinking of travelling into Guernsey for the Half Marathon, please drop us a message (guernseyathletics1@gmail.com) so we can talk over requirements. The latest travel guidance for Guernsey can be found here: Travel with effect from 1 July 2021 | States of Guernsey - COVID-19 (gov.gg). Please also take note of the Country Category lists here which includes a list to the travel and testing requirement of each category - currently category 4 for those not fully vaccinated requires an isolation period of 13 - 21 days. Please note that as the situation remains fluid, government advice may change between now and race day.
Overseas entrants who deferred from 2020 will have a place available, should travel to the island be possible, or will be offered a refund or deferral to 2022. An email will be sent to those concerned - if you believe this should include you and you do not receive any communication, please contact guernseyathletics1@gmail.com with a copy of your entry and your request for deferral.
2020 Deferred Entrants

General Instructions:
After selecting your entry type and adding it to the basket, please proceed to check-out and complete all fields, with particular regard to the emergency information.
Participants must be aged 17 or over on 26th September 2021. 'Affiliated' refers to runners who are members of a UKA affiliated Club only, (locally only Guernsey AC).
There will be a cut off time of 3 hrs and 30 minutes, after which the course will no longer be marshalled.
The Butterfield Half Marathon will be fully UKA licensed over certified course ref 13/207 and will be held under UKA rules.
The wearing of headphones of any kind during the race is prohibited and will render the participant liable to disqualification from the results. Numbers may not be swapped or passed on EXCEPT through the organisers. Both parties to a swap except by the organisers will be liable to disqualification from this and other GAC events.
By registering, you are declaring that you are well enough to take part in the event and that you will not hold the GIAAC or any of its officers responsible for any accident, loss or injury incurred whilst taking part in this event. You also consent to the club processing and in some instances, publishing your personal data (including for example, your name, age, category, club & race results) to the public, and/or sharing with third parties, the whole in accordance with the GIAAC's Privacy Policy (a copy of which can be found at www.guernseyathletics.org.gg/the-club/governance). You are accepting that any published race images may include you. All races are run in accordance with UKA rules.
BUTTERFIELD HALF MARATHON, SUNDAY 26TH SEPTEMBER 2021
The Butterfield Half Marathon will take place in Guernsey on Sunday 26th September 2021 and will start at 09:00 at L’Eree in the south west corner of this beautiful Channel Island. The route follows a stunning 13.1 mile coastal road, running along the town seafront, culminating in a grand finish outside the Tourist Information Office in St Peter Port. 2021 marks the 21st year that it has been organised by Guernsey Athletics and it promises to be a fun family event.
All competitors will receive a medal and the first 500 participants to sign-up will also receive a souvenir technical running t-shirt. When registering for the event, please choose your T-Shirt size. T-Shirts are limited to the first 500 entries.
