SPONSORSHIP: We are raising money for our projects in Rwanda. This year we are renovating classrooms at Muko Secondary School. We have a 50-50 grant from Jersey Overseas Aid but need to raise further funds to match their grant. We hope you will support us by seeking sponsors for this challenge.
This popular event covering 19 miles over the beautiful, rugged north coast of the Island has been running now for more than 15 years. Over the years with your help we have raised wonderful funds to support our projects in Rwanda, where we have been helping to improve teaching and learning conditions schools in Rusizi District for more than 10 years.
With our local partners there we have been building and renovating classrooms for primary and secondary schools. We also support individual students to ensure they can access education.
Every year we invite volunteers to join us for short term visits to Rwanda (up to four weeks) working along side local people, helping to renovate schools or teaching English.
