Welcome to the 2024 Gosport Half Marathon hosted by Gosport Road Runners and a venue for the Hampshire Road Race League.

The Race will be held on Sunday 17 November starting at 1000.

ENTRIES

Unaffiliated Entry: - £29.50

Affiliated Entry:- £27.50

If you would like your name putting on your bib then please enter the race before 4 November 24. All entries after then will have a bib with a number on and no name.

Entries will close on 15 November 24.

If the race has not sold out there will be entries on the day of the race.

Car Parking  (Sat-nav PO13 9BE)

Our main race car park is signposted from the B3333 Privett Road and is situated on private land in Browndown Road. The car park will not be open until 8.00 am. Please note that this car park has a limited capacity, it will fill up quickly, please car-share when you can. Once full, the car park will be closed and all other cars will be redirected to the seafront car parks in Stokes Bay. Browndown car park closes at 2 pm, please remove your car before this time. Car parking on the school grounds, Browndown Road, or Gomer Lane is not permitted.

Alternative parking is at Stokes Bay where there are several large car parks, please note that there is a charge for using these car parks.

There is also plenty of spectator parking along the seafront at Lee-on-the-Solent, 

Race Headquarters

Bay House School & Sixth Form*, Gomer Lane, Alverstoke, Gosport, Hampshire, PO12 2QP.  Google map   Please note this is NOT the car park.

*This is a no-smoking site. Dogs are not allowed anywhere within the grounds of the School.

Facilities Toilets, Changing Rooms, Refreshments including home-made cakes, a Sports Retailer Stall, a Help Desk, on-the-day entry, and Fun Run entry.

Audio Devices

For the Gosport Half Marathon Bone conducting headphones are permitted.

Runners seen to be wearing headphones other than bone-conducting headphones will be disqualified by the Event Organisers

Race Day

Please note that for this year’s Gosport Half Marathon, Race Number will not be posted out and must be collected on either Saturday 16^th November (venue to be confirmed), or from Race HQ on Race Day 17^th November.

Photographs and video recordings may be taken and used for publicity purposes.

Car parking on the School grounds, Browndown Road, or Gomer Lane is not permitted.

The race car park closes at 2 pm, please remove your car before this time.
