Before you enter Friends of Ampney Crucis Colour Run
Registration Details:
Registration is open to primary school students of all ages. Simply sign up to secure your spot in the event. Early registration is recommended as spots fill up quickly! Registration will be closing on 24th May 2024.
Age groups will be set off separately.
All entries will receive a goodie bag prior to the race including:
- White t-shirt (to showcase the rainbow of colour)
- Sunglasses (Please note these are not sealed so there is a chance paint can get into the children's eyes, please bring goggles if you think your child will dislike like this)
What to Bring:
- Comfortable running attire that you are happy to be stained
- Trainers (they may be more colourful post-run)
- Sunscreen and a hat for sun protection if necessary
- A sense of adventure and a big smile!
Important Notes:
Safety is our top priority.
- Paint is EN71 Certified Powders, a safe, non-toxic powder made from natural ingredients.
FOR THE SAFETY OF OUR CHILDREN WE ASK THAT NO PAINT/POWDER IS BROUGHT TO THE EVENT TO ENSURE ALL POWDER USED IS SAFE FOR OUR CHILDREN.
WE WILL BE PROVIDING ADDITIONAL PAINT FOR PURCHASE
- First Aid staff will be present throughout the event to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all participants.
- This event is rain or shine, so come prepared for any weather conditions.
- Spectators are welcome to cheer on the runners and enjoy the festivities from designated viewing areas.

Get ready for a burst of vibrant fun with Ampney Crucis Colour Run. The colour run event welcomes Down Ampney Primary, Hatherop Primary, Southrop Primary, Kemble Primary, Meysey Hampton Primary, Kempsford Primary and Rodmarton Primary schools to take part in an afternoon of colour and fundraising for our highly valued schools. Imagine a day filled with laughter, excitement, and a kaleidoscope of colours as students dash through a rainbow of hues in this unforgettable adventure.

Event Highlights:
Colourful Course: Brace yourself for a colourful journey as you navigate through our specially designed course, bursting with vibrant colour stations and obstacles along the way. Each station promises a new explosion of colour, creating a magical rainbow experience for all participants. Children will be set off according to their age group for safety reasons.
Sponsorship: It's not just a run, every child is encouraged to collect sponsorship per lap around Ampney field. The sponsorship money will then go towards the child's school.
Family-Friendly: Ampney Colour Run will also provide additional paint to be purchased at the event for post-run paint fun, especially if you wish to cover your adult in some colour!
Healthy Living: Promoting fitness and well-being is at the heart of Ampney Colour Run. Encouraging physical activity in a fun and engaging way, inspiring students to lead active and healthy lifestyles.
