Before you enter Memory Walk 2022 - Dementia Jersey

Join us on Sunday 18^th September 2022 at 10.30am for our annual Memory Walk to remember loved ones and raise funds to support people in Jersey living with dementia.

Our Memory Walk is for those who have lost people who had dementia, those with family or friends currently living with the condition or people who simply want to take on a challenge and raise money for a good cause. Pets are very welcome too!

The walk will start at La Fregate and end at St.Brelade's Parish Hall. This flat 5k walk is for all ages and abilities to unite together to raise awareness and funds to help support the 1,600 islanders with dementia, their carers, and their family.

Take on your own Memory Walk!

If you have a favourite walking route that you would prefer to do, that’s not a problem. You can still sign up to our Memory Walk event to help raise valuable funds. You simply just choose the ‘Own Route’ ticket type, and do your own walking route on the 18^th September. Why not gather some of your friends, family or colleagues to join you!

About Memory Walk 2022 - Dementia Jersey

If you are joining the official Dementia Jersey Memory Walk - please arrive at La Fregate no later than 10am to be signed in, ready to begin the walk at 10.30am. We'll have our purple gazebo up so you won't be able to miss us!

The walk finishes at St Brelade's Parish Hall, where you will be greeted and receive your certificate and chocolate treat!

If you have chosen to do your own route, we will be in touch regarding your certificate. Please do share some photos with us from your walk, we'd love to see them!

There is no fundraising target for this event, however, we are very grateful for funds raised as part of this walk and encourage people to make donations through the Race Nation platform where people register. We are also happy to take cash donations, cheque or receive funds by BACs transfer. Please reference 'Memory Walk' when making your donation. Find out more about how to donate here
