Dementia Jersey Mont Orgueil Castle abseil- Saturday 20th September & Sunday 21st September
Are you ready for an adrenaline-filled experience that will make a lasting impact? Abseil down the iconic Mont Orgueil Castle while enjoying stunning views of Gorey. Not only will you conquer your fears, but your participation will help raise vital funds and awareness for Dementia Jersey, making a huge difference in the lives of those impacted by dementia.
Event Details:
Training Day: Saturday, 20th September
Mandatory 1.5-hour session at the Observation Tower, Noirmont Point
Abseil Day: Sunday, 21st September
Experience the thrill of descending the historic Castle walls!
Fundraising: We ask each participant to raise a minimum of £100. A personal fundraising page will be automatically set up when you register. Every pound you raise helps provide vital support for people in Jersey living with dementia.
Timings: Time slots will be allocated closer to the time but in the meantime, please ensure you are free between 8.30-1pm on Saturday and 10am-1pm on Sunday.
Please note: Friends and family coming to cheer you on will need to pay the Castle entry fee unless they hold a Heritage pass.
The training day and abseil will be delivered by Jersey Adventures.
Jersey Adventures age limit for this event is 16 - 65 years old. Due to the nature of this event, Jersey Adventures have some height and weight restrictions.
