The HMS Raleigh Novice Triathlon 2024 will be an exciting and fast race. This event is open to all abilities from Novice to Elite, with entries being invited from both service and civilian personnel, and will also incorporate the Royal Navy Sprint Triathlon Championship 2024.  Novice category is an athlete who has completed less than 3 Multi Sport events (Duathlons, Triathlons, Aquathlon, Aquabike). Civilian athletes are strongly recommended to acquire their own personal injury insurance. 

Event

This event will take place at HMS RALEIGH on Wed 15th May 2024 commencing at 1300.

a. Swim 400 metres (12 lengths of the pool).

b. Cycle 20 km along local roads (A374).

c. Run 5 km within HMS RALEIGH on and off road.

Entry

Entries to the competition will cost £20 (£25 on the day-late fee) and will cover prizes, administration costs and a meal on completion of the event.

Prize Giving

On completion of the event a prize ceremony will take place within the Gymnasium Sports Bar. Service competitors will be representing their respective units.
