Sunday 27th April 2025
The Corsham 10K is now in its 42nd year and you are all invited. The event is organised by members of the Corsham Running Club and it's one of the biggest 10Ks in Wiltshire, attracting 1400 runners of all abilities who come from Local Clubs in the South West and further afield.
Like many races around the world, we are proud to have greened up our event. In 2018 we stopped giving out plastic bottles of water on the course and at the finish; instead we now hand out water in recyclable cups and offer refill points to further save resources.
In 2022, we introduced the wooden mementos and in 2023 the t-shirts offered in the frills package are being made from sustainable materials.
Our commitment to giving runners a choice to make races less wasteful continues. All finishers of the 10K will have a choice; runners can opt not to collect the memento, t-shirt and Marshfield farm Ice cream at the finish. We are calling this the "No Frills Package", there is a reduced fee for this option. Alternatively you can opt to have the memento, t-shirt (both newly designed for 2025 and Marshfield Farm Ice cream - It's up to you! )
A 10K road race, with partial road closures. Starting and finishing at Corsham Rugby Club on the Lacock Road. The race continues through the picturesque town of Corsham, then onto Westwells and the beautiful village of Neston, before returning back into Corsham The route is supported and marshalled by members of Corsham Running Club and other local community groups. There is one water station situated at the 5K point.

The event is a run as a not for profit race, all profits after event expenses are distributed to support local charities, support groups, organisations and schools. As always we are extremely grateful for the continued sponsorship from local businesses. In 2024 the 10K supported a range of local charities, local community groups and schools by distributing £20,000 to their support funds. For more information visit www.corsham10K.co.uk
The race village will have a variety of stalls selling cakes, drinks and other merchandise, we also offer a massage service (donations optional)
The event continues to look at making the event more sustainable to the environment, over the last few years we have taken significant steps to improve our environmental footprint.
