Sign up here to join Toby Fox on this Training Ride. This ride is is a great introduction to spending longer amounts of time in the saddle, increasing your stamina, fitness and of course plenty of time to chat to fellow cyclists that are doing the Cycle to Mipim. 

"Route Description: We start by going Up Staples Lane to Wonersh (and a sharp climb on Iron Lane), Petworth and Amberley for lunch, returning via West Chiltington, Billingshurst, Cranleigh, up Coombe Lane and through East Horsley. A proper climb at each end of the route and plenty of quiet roads through lovely countryside. Expect to ride for five-six hours, returning before 3-4pm. Lights, warm clothing, waterproofs and money for lunch essential.

Maximum number of riders: eight per ride captain – if we have enough captains we can ride multiple groups at different speeds; if not, we will average around 23km/h" Toby Fox

Meet location: Car Park, Downside Bridge Road, Cobham, Surrey

Coffee stop: Riverside Tea Rooms, Amberley, next to Amberley Station (approx half way)

Distance: 145km with 1700m of climbing
