Before you enter Slaughterford 9 2025

Strictly NO DOGS are permitted at Leafy Lane onto the playing fields or around the club house. Runners are also NOT allowed to run with a dog on or off a lead. 

First Aid will be provided by My Skills for Life. We will have first aid stationed near to Thickwood out on the course and also at the start/finish area.

Our race licence is provided by ARC.

Chippenham Harriers are the organisers of the Slaughterford 9 race. Our maximum capacity for this event is 400. 

All marshals are volunteers of Chippenham Harriers Running Club.

Slaughterford 9 2025 is included in the off road running league. Wiltshire Athletics Off-Road Race League Fixtures 2024/25 - Wiltshire Athletics Association

About Slaughterford 9 2025

A multi-terrain race over 9 miles of steeply undulating countryside, carrying a sting in its tail!  Whilst tackling 900 feet of ascent/descent in the Slaughterford valley, runners will encounter tarmac, stony paths, fields, tracks and green lanes. The course is 75% off-road, the route is well marshalled and arrowed, there will be a water station provided on route at around the 3 mile mark. Finishers will receive a race memento at the end and chip timing is provided by DB Max. 



The Start/Finish area is in the lay-by just off of the busy A4 road - just down from Leafy Lane. (opposite to Rudloe Manor).



Offical Race Start is at 9.30am.
