About Chew Valley Santa Scramble

The Chew Valley Santa Scramble and Mini Santa Scramble is in its second year and the best way to start the festive season. Simply run, walk, jog, sprint or toddle around a marshalled route dressed like Santa!

The morning of festive family activity on Sunday 2nd December 2018 comprises two fun runs.  The Santa Scramble, commencing at 11am, is a 5k(ish) route across fields and lanes, starting and finishing at Chew Valley School.  This year, it's open to all ages and abilities although under 11's must be accompanied by an adult at all times and we do ask that you are able to complete the route in under two hours, so our marshals can warm up!

The younger members of the family get their slice of the action with the 1k mini Santa Scramble. Starting at 10am it’s just a shorter version of the 5K and all contained within the school grounds. Parents/carers are welcome to join in the fun and accompany their child but, in the spirit of Christmas, festive dress is obligatory!

We supply the course, the marshals, the obligatory christmassy medal and the Santa suit in the price of your entry!

And to add to that warm, fuzzy glow that running dressed like Santa will provide, all money raised supports Chew Valley School and local charity, Mend the Gap, based in Langford.
