About Chew Valley 10k 2023

Welcome to the 11th Chew Valley 10k - Sunday 11th June 2023: 9.30am Start

Our race start will once again be just up from Race Headquarters at Bishop Sutton Village Hall, Wick Road, with closed roads at the start and finish.  From Wick Road (just after New Manor Farm Shop), you will turn left at Widcombe Common and take in some beautiful, undulating rural lanes, set in the backdrop of the Mendip Hills. Another left further on takes you to Coley Hill about half way - lovely and leafy and with marshals cheering you on at the bottom and top! The route then takes in the Upper Lane in Hinton Blewett, past the Ring o' Bells pub and then left back out of the village and towards Top Sutton, with minimal traffic on the main open route.

The last 2km or so is a wonderful drop back down Sutton Hill Road to the back of Bishop Sutton Primary School and a very warm welcome home!

If you are a wheelchair user, are visually impaired or have a disability where you will require a buddy/guide runner, please contact Denise on email@chewvalley10k.co.uk to to discuss a free buddy/guide runner place. Denise can also arrange a reccie of the route for you.

Water vats will be available to refill your bottles/collapsible cups/hydration packs at about half way and after the finish line (recyclable paper cups will also be available) and our Prize Giving is at 11.15am, back at Race HQ.

Huge thanks to our two main sponsors, Truespeed and Winford Ford and to all our supporting sponsors - we really appreciate it.

Thank you for your support - we look forward to seeing you soon! You can keep up-to-date by following us on Facebook, Twitter @chewvalley10k and Instagram or can contact us at email@chewvalley10k.co.uk.
