The Race
A very fast and flat course around the quiet, picturesque country lanes of Heddington, exactly what you need for chasing down that PB!
Setting off circa 100m beyond the Charles Willis Hall (SN11 OPH), the route takes in a downhill start before levelling out to get yourself well on your way to what will be a quick 5k, finishing back in the heart of Heddington at the Ivy Inn.
Please note this race is run in a "stripped back" style. We at Calne Running Club simply want people to get out and enjoy their chance at achieving a PB around this course. The race has a UKA race permit and a certificate of course accuracy, along with suitable medical cover and plenty of water at the finish.... and chip timing courtesy of DB Max. In an attempt to keep races in the runner's diary that are cheap yet still enjoyable, you will not receive any memento at the end. Your small entry fee simply goes into the organisation of the event, ensuring it is safe and enjoyable for all.
