CCC Evening Summer series 2024
The Summer series will consist of a 3 part stage race, with the following 3 stages on Tuesday evening
The stage race is open to anyone, and each race will have 4 Divisions, with each Divisional winner receiving a Trophy.
This series suits anyone new to road racing, as the road race is on a flat course, and includes a TT and Track race. Each division will start separately, so you will be racing other riders of similar ability.
For Division 4 will be awarding an additional trophy for 1st Lady, and CCC will award other lady trophies if 3 or more ladies enter the same division.
Riders are encouraged to enter the whole stage race, but you can purchase individual tickets if you prefer to just do a Time Trial, you just will not win any prizes.
At the end of the time trial on 20 Aug, we will meet up at the Farmers Inn for the prize giving (around 7:45pm), again everyone who raced, family, friends are welcome to join.
The Farmers inn is putting on a BBQ for prize giving, so if you want food you will need to buy tickets in advance via RaceNation at £5. Note Tuesday is not a food night at the Farmers so the BBQ will potentially be the only option for food. If you just want a drink you do not have to purchase a ticket.
The stage race will be based on total time, with anyone finishing in the 'bunch' receiving the same time, there will be no automated timing equipment at the track, so potentially a number of riders will be on the same time going into the last event the time trial. We have not finialised the timing rules, but potentially anyone finishing within one minute of the rider in front will be given the same time for Track and Road Race.
