Thanks for your interest in the Brighton Pier Open Water Swim 2025. Once again we plan to have a great swim event so that everybody has a great day out at the beach. Before you enter, just a couple of things to mention below

Please note that NO REFUNDS can be given for this event in the advent of a rearranged date due to sea and weather conditions forcing a postponement. The reserve dates will be; 1st - Saturday 26th July - 2nd A date in September that works for the safety crew alongside the tide times. If the event can not be held on any of these dates your entry will be carried over to the 2026 event. This is due to the very unpredictable nature of sea swimming events and the upfront costs that are involved, this is the only way that events like this one can be planned. 

Please make sure you have experience of swimming in the sea beforehand. Swimming in the sea is very different to swimming in a pool, lake or river. 

Once again we will be working alongside the Seabirds swimming charity. They will be providing volunteers for the day and we will be donating to them from every entry received. Sea Safety will be provided by Brighton Surf Lifesaving Club. 

All entrants must be over 18 at time of event and comfortable swimming in the sea.
