Bourton Roadrunners hosts the Bourton Half Marathon at 9am on Sunday 2 July 2023.
We've improved our single-lap course, which is now all on-road taking in the villages of Farmington, Clapton and Sherborne, starting and finishing in the fantastic family-friendly setting of Greystones Farm in Bourton on the Water.
The Half Marathon is part of the 2023 Gloucestershire AAA road race series, and will incorporate the Gloucestershire Half Marathon Championships. Please read Gloucestershire AAA championship eligibility rules.
All those completing the Bourton Half will be offered a priority entry to the Highbridge Jewellers’ Bourton 10k in 2024, before general entry opens.
We are also hosting a 1.5 miles fun run, which will take place while the half marathon competitors are running. This two-lap off-road route around Greystones Farm starts and finishes in the same place at the half marathon.
The fun run is suitable for all ages and abilities, with toddlers and teenagers welcome alike. We recommend that children under 11 are accompanied by an adult (no additional cost for adult). When registering children, please put the contact details for the parent/guardian
All finishers will receive a biodegradable seed medal, which once worn with pride can be planted to grow wildflowers
Entires will close at 5pm on Thursday 29 June 2023, but there will be entries on the day, subject to availability, at a slightly higher price.
More details available on the Bourton Roadrunners website.
