Now a proud part of The Purbeck Trail Series, we are back for 2026, and to keep it fresh, we are flipping the course direction for even more stunning scenery!

The Blue Castle Run is a 7 mile trail race which begins and ends at The Blue Pool, Dorset. With ancient woodland trails; hills and heath; ridges and valleys, and the occasional castle, delivering you some of the most stunning scenery in the Purbecks; and a unique opportunity to run around The Blue Pool. Twice.

Challenging enough for competitive athletes, and enjoyable for all runners, this is an opportunity to be part of an amazing event which is sure to become a classic. Places are limited to keep it a friendly event and last year we sold out. There are no extra places this year, and we have kept the price the same so register now to avoid missing out!
