About Hattingley Half by Blended Trails

The Blended Trails team are thrilled to introduce the Hattingley Half, 13.1 miles of trail through the rolling countryside of east Hampshire.

Medstead village green (East Hampshire) provides us with the perfect spot for the event village where you'll find registration, chip timing pods, event assistance, toilets, local stalls including vegan friendly catering.

Starting at the village green, the race picks up the trails promptly, descending from Medstead, one of the highest points in Hampshire, into some open fields and farmland. 8k into the route you will pick up The Oxdrove Way, a superb byway which gently undulates through the Hampshire countryside, the route then cuts South and takes you into a short, shady woodland section. At the 15k mark, keep a look out for the trig point at Bugmore Hill on your left, followed by Godsfield Copse and some stunning countryside to your right as you drop onto some single-track trails through Wield Wood and into the village of Upper Wield. From there you'll have a flat run to the finish that enjoys a stretch along one of the Blended Trails popular Pop-Up run routes, the last 3k of the route takes you through the amazing Hattingley Valley Vineyards and back to the race village finish line.

This is a cracking route in the heart of Blended Trails running territory, we’ve triple tested it and are sure you’ll love it.

Every finisher will receive a bespoke medal, and there will be water stations and support along the way. We have planned an event that should be enjoyable and fun. The event will not have a mass start but, timed slots starting at 9am through to 11am, the course cut off is 2.30pm.

If you would like an event T-shirt please head over to the Blended Trails website and follow the link to Splendid at Blended our online store. You'll find the Hattingley Half Marathon 2021 T shirt available there, alongside our range of Blended merch.

Download the Race Nation App free and check out an airplane view of the route.
