Run the Bideford 10k and support Children’s Hospice South West! Runners of all abilities are welcome and will receive a 2025 medal bespoke to each of our races as well as a t-shirt. The course starts and finishes close to the Bideford Amateur Athletic Club clubhouse taking in the views of the Taw and Torridge estuary between Bideford and Instow. The course heads out on the road on Instow and returns on the Tarka Trail. It is moderately flat with only two small inclines.
We are proud that this year's race is part of the England Age Group Masters Programme as a 10k Qualifier. To compete to qualify for England Masters you must sign-up to the Bideford 10k as normal AND register via England Athletics.
£150 cash and bottle of fizz for 1st man and woman • £100 cash for 2nd man and woman • £75 cash for 3rd man and woman
£50 cash bonus if the 1st man or woman sets a new course record male 30:25 (2021), female 35:33 (2002)
£20 cash for the winner of each category up to V75
Category trophies U20 to V75 men and women: 1st, 2nd and 3rd
All cash prizes, bottles of fizz and trophies are available at the prize presentation on the day of the race only.

Need to know info:
No walkers. This is for the safety and wellbeing of participants and marshals as sections of the race are on open roads. Participants need to be able to complete the race in an average of 15 minutes per mile, or faster, and within the 1 hour 34 minutes cut-off time. Those ignoring this rule will be withdrawn from the event and marked as disqualified on the results. Bideford AAC thanks you for respecting this rule
