The Charity we are supporting for this year’s event is Caring for Communities and People

CCP (Caring for Communities & People) exists to tackle the causes and effects of homelessness, family breakdown and exclusion. With our head office in Cheltenham, we have projects across Gloucestershire as well as parts of Herefordshire, Worcestershire, Wiltshire and Dorset.

Our projects include:

  • Reaching out to people enduring a life living out in the open and on the streets.
  • Providing supported housing for 16 – 25 year olds who would otherwise be homeless.
  • Debt, housing and benefit advice for those on the brink of homelessness.
  • Helping to strength families who are facing difficulties.
  • Providing trained volunteers to act as appropriate adults when a young person, or adult with learning disabilities, is held in custody.
  • Engage with and supporting individuals to move closer towards education, training, volunteering or work.
  • Connecting isolated people with their local community.
  • Emergency Food Parcels & Pantry Project for those living in poverty.

We believe that everybody has the power to change their lives for the better, but some need a little help along the way! For more information about our services or how you can get. Involved Please visit: www.ccp.org.uk

If you want to raise monies for your Charity you are welcome to compete in any of our races.
