We are proud to announce the Belfast International 24-Hour Road Race in its 11th year will continue. This is the ultimate challenge the race will be held at Victoria Park Belfast on the weekend Saturday/Sunday 16th & 17thOctober 2021.
The event began on the Mary Peters’ track in 2010 and moved to Victoria Park in 2016 for its World Championship demonstration event and the World Championships followed in 2017. Northern Ireland Athletics and Belfast City Council have been supportive for this race for the whole duration of the event.
For the 8th Year it will be incorporating the AAI Irish National Championship
The 24-hr race is run by the Local Organising Committee Belfast Runs. It has been awarded a gold label for the race in 2021 from the world governing body the IAU under the rules of UK Athletics. The National Championship status is from UK Athletics licence
All the monies from this event go to the following year’s race

Belfast 24 Hour Road Relay Men, Women, Mixed Teams (2 Men, 2 Women) Teams of 4 Runners Start 12 Noon
Belfast 100 Mile Road Race Start 12 Noon
Belfast 50K Run Start 2.00pm
Presentation of awards Belfast 50K Road Race Saturday 16th October 2021 at 8.00pm
There will be trophies to the 1st, 2nd, 3rd Individuals and Age group Category Prizes for the 50K Race
Belfast 24 Hour Road Relay Start 12 Noon
There will be Men’s Team of 4 runners, Women’s Team of 4 runners, and Mixed Teams 2 Men and 2 Women of 4 runners’.
Each Team Member will complete 2 hours each throughout 24 hours and will have an arm band to pass on to the next runner.

AAI Irish National Championship 1st,2nd, 3rd Individual Men & Women and Age group Category prizes
Belfast 24 Hour Road Relays Men, Women, Mixed team 2 Men, 2 Women
There will be trophies to the winning teams in the 24 Hour Road Relays
Entries close for all the races by Monday 4th October 2021 at 12 Noon
